Colorado: a little girl on her mothers special day

I've lived in Colorado my whole life and still I can't imagine my life anywhere else. I love how the flowers slowly begin to show themselves after months of hiding. Especially the way the leaves change into different shades of green to an orange. They slowly dance into circles before crashing into the ground. Then again the cycle starts over again, but never the same. Capturing every little moment, smelling the scent of fresh cut grass, and watching new life come into the world. Still I would be happy to live the rest of my life in this beautiful state I call home.
